Overview

The Department of Head and Neck Oncology provides an integrated approach to the diagnosis, surgical treatment, and rehabilitation of cancers affecting all head and neck subsites. Every patient’s case is reviewed in a multidisciplinary tumor board including surgical oncologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, and pathologists, ensuring personalized and comprehensive treatment planning.

  • Oropharyngeal Cancers - Radical tonsillectomy to trans-oral resection of tonsil, base of tongue, and retropharyngeal nodal dissections with advanced techniques, line Transoral robotic surgeries, TOUSS

  • Larynx and hypopharyngeal cancers- Partial laryngectomies to total laryngectomy, along with voice restoration for laryngeal cancers

  • Endocrine surgeries– Thyroid cancer surgeries and parathyroid disorders with nerve monitoring

  • Paranasal and sinus endoscopic surgeries- Benign to malignant sinus tumour excision with the help of an endoscopic and advanced navigation system to remove the tumour from the skull base.
