- Final assessment and discharge order, along with discharge notes by the consultant
- Return of medication and preparation of cumulative charges
- Preparation of discharge summary and editing/finalization of summary
- Preparation, processing, and settlement of the final bill
- Explanation of medication, post-discharge care, and handing over the discharge summary
- Wheeling out the patient
