The discharge process marks the conclusion of a patient’s treatment or procedure under the care of our healthcare professionals. It is a structured procedure that ensures a smooth transition from hospital care to home care and involves the following steps:

  • Final assessment and discharge order, along with discharge notes by the consultant
  • Return of medication and preparation of cumulative charges
  • Preparation of discharge summary and editing/finalization of summary
  • Preparation, processing, and settlement of the final bill
  • Explanation of medication, post-discharge care, and handing over the discharge summary
  • Wheeling out the patient
