• Patient/Attendant approaches the Admission desk with a prescription or admission request form issued by the Consultant with the Admission date & treatment plan.
  • An estimate is prepared and explained to the patient/attendant as per their choice(Cash)or entitlement of the room category (Panel/Insurance/Corporate).
  • Required documents are collected from the patient, like photo ID proof, PAN card, a copy of the medical card/ referral letter/ authorization letter/pre-approval letter.
  • Bed availability is checked, and confirmation for readiness is checked from the IPD.
  • General consent is taken, Patient/Attendant's rights and responsibilities are briefed, and signed off by Patient/ Attendant.
  • Advance is collected as per patient category (Cash/Panel/PSU/TPA).
  • After all the documentation, details are entered in HIS, the IP number is generated, and a file is prepared containing all the relevant documents.
  • Attendant & Visitor passes (one each) are issued to the Patient Attendant.
  • The patient, along with the Patient's case file, is taken to the specific ward accompanied by hospital staff who hand over the patient and file to the respective ward nurse.
