Patient/Attendant approaches the Admission desk with a prescription or admission request form issued by the Consultant with the Admission date & treatment plan.
An estimate is prepared and explained to the patient/attendant as per their choice(Cash)or entitlement of the room category (Panel/Insurance/Corporate).
Required documents are collected from the patient, like photo ID proof, PAN card, a copy of the medical card/ referral letter/ authorization letter/pre-approval letter.
Bed availability is checked, and confirmation for readiness is checked from the IPD.
General consent is taken, Patient/Attendant's rights and responsibilities are briefed, and signed off by Patient/ Attendant.
Advance is collected as per patient category (Cash/Panel/PSU/TPA).
After all the documentation, details are entered in HIS, the IP number is generated, and a file is prepared containing all the relevant documents.
Attendant & Visitor passes (one each) are issued to the Patient Attendant.
The patient, along with the Patient's case file, is taken to the specific ward accompanied by hospital staff who hand over the patient and file to the respective ward nurse.
