Open Emergency Modal
Yashoda Medicity is enhancing its diagnostic imaging capabilities with the GE 3T MRI Signa Architect, a 128-channel 3.0 Tesla Magnetic Resonance Imaging system. MRI is a non-invasive imaging modality used by Dr. (Brigadier) Chander Mohan, SM (Group Principal Director) to evaluate soft tissues, nerves, joints, organs, vascular structures, and the brain without the use of ionising radiation.
This advanced 3.0T system offers high magnetic field strength, enabling superior image quality, improved signal resolution, and greater diagnostic accuracy for a wide range of complex medical conditions across multiple specialities.
At Yashoda Medicity, the combination of a powerful 3.0 Tesla magnetic field and 128-channel technology enables the Radiology team to perform high-quality scans with excellent spatial resolution and improved efficiency. This makes the system highly effective for imaging the brain, spine, joints, musculoskeletal system (including knee and shoulder), heart, abdomen, pelvis, and peripheral nerves.
The system is particularly valuable in pre-surgical planning and post-operative evaluation, as well as in the assessment of neurological disorders and musculoskeletal conditions such as arthritis. It also supports detailed evaluation of complex diseases requiring high-resolution imaging for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
The advanced 128-channel coil technology enhances image acquisition speed and signal clarity, resulting in reduced scan times and improved patient comfort by minimising the duration spent inside the scanner. The system’s ability to capture high-resolution images of complex structures, including vascular and nervous systems, without radiation exposure further strengthens its clinical value.
By integrating advanced MRI technology into its diagnostic services, Yashoda Medicity enables precise disease assessment, supports complex clinical decision-making, and contributes to more accurate and effective treatment planning.
