Bravos

The Bravos system at Yashoda Medicity, under the direction of Dr. Gagan Saini, is an advanced high-dose-rate (HDR) brachytherapy platform used in precision oncology. It delivers radiation very close to, or in some cases directly into, the tumour site, enabling highly targeted treatment while minimising exposure to surrounding healthy tissues. The system uses an iridium-192 source to deliver internal radiation therapy (brachytherapy), supported by advanced technology, specialised oncology expertise, and well-established clinical protocols.

HDR brachytherapy plays an important role in the complete management of several cancers, including cervical, endometrial, prostate, breast, skin, and head & neck cancers, and is often used in combination with other treatment modalities as part of a multimodality approach.

At Yashoda Medicity, the Bravos system supports structured, protocol-driven workflows for radiation oncology teams, ensuring safe and efficient treatment delivery. It includes advanced treatment planning tools, patient tracking, automated safety checks, and precise radiation delivery mechanisms.
