Yashoda Medicity is enhancing diagnostic capabilities through the integration of the SPECT NM/CT 850, an advanced hybrid imaging system that combines Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT) with high-resolution CT imaging. By bringing functional and anatomical imaging together in a single examination, the system enables clinicians to assess how organs and tissues are functioning while simultaneously understanding their precise anatomical location.
A key advantage of the SPECT NM/CT 850 is its ability to provide detailed functional imaging alongside anatomical localisation. SPECT captures the distribution of radiotracers within the body, highlighting changes in physiological activity, while CT provides corresponding anatomical detail.
