AIIMS neurosurgeon with over 25 years of experience joins Yashoda Institute of Neurosciences
Yashoda Medicity has appointed Dr. Rajinder Kumar as Principal Director & Unit Head, Neurosurgery at the Yashoda Institute of Neurosciences. A neurosurgeon with more than 25 years of experience, Dr. Kumar has had a distinguished association with AIIMS, New Delhi, spanning more than two decades.
Trained at premier institutions, Dr. Kumar completed his postgraduate studies from AIIMS, New Delhi and is a Fellow of the University of Iowa, USA. He has received advanced training in functional neurosurgery at AMC University, Amsterdam, Gamma Knife radiosurgery in the USA and skull base endoscopy across Europe and the USA. His areas of expertise include functional, vascular, skull base, endoscopic, spine and minimally invasive neurosurgery, and more.
Dr. Kumar also has an extensive academic portfolio, with numerous publications in leading national and international journals that cover neuro-oncology, pediatric neurosurgery, functional and endoscopic neurosurgery, and related fields. His contributions also include innovative surgical techniques and instruments that have advanced neurosurgical practice.
