About Dr. (Brigadier) Chander Mohan, SM

Highly accomplished medical and strategic professional with 41 years of experience in Radiodiagnosis, including 30 years in Vascular & Interventional, Breast, and Cancer Radiology, with expertise in medical education, publications, medical administration, and hospital management. Pioneered Interventional Radiology in the Armed Forces 27 years ago at Military Hospital (CTC), Pune, and later at Army Hospital Centre, Delhi Cantt. Conducted pioneering work on the use of “CT in penetrating missile/bullet & war injuries” during and after the Kargil war, saving many lives. Key contributor to medical education reforms and DrNB subspecialisation in Endovascular & Interventional Radiology.
