Experience

Dr Puneet Dargan has over 15 years of experience in the field of Liver Transplant and Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery. He has been instrumental in initiating liver transplant programs across various hospitals in Delhi NCR as well as Chennai, and has an experience of more than 750 cases of liver transplantation, including living donor as well as cadaveric liver transplants. In the field of liver transplant his focus of attention has been developing strategies for improving donor safety and improving recipient outcomes.

He also focuses on paediatric liver transplantation patients and has had an experience of more than 100 paediatric liver transplant cases including those with acute liver failure and congenital anomalies.

His other areas of interest include treatment of liver tumors and tumors of the gallbladder, bile duct and pancreas.
